The Ecosystems Knowledge Network and the James Hutton Institute running a workshop to enable you to learn how to initiate and sustain payments for ecosystem service schemes in Scotland and elsewhere within the UK.The event on 24th February will involve some leading experts on payments for ecosystem services, as well as introductions to some practical examples of implementation 'on the ground'. The day will combine presentations, discussion and workshop sessions. It is for all people interested in the challenges and opportunities that payments for ecosystem service schemes may bring to their project or organisation. No prior environmental or economics expertise is required.
