Placement Scheme funds awarded

The list of successful applicants to the Valuing Nature Placement Scheme is now available. £180k was available under the Placement Scheme to allow researchers to work in a new disciplinary, institutional or applied setting.  The successful placements will run for one to three months, starting by mid-February 2016.

The members of the Scheme will contribute to the Valuing Nature Programme's goal of building an interdisciplinary research community, capable of working across the natural, biological and social sciences and arts and humanities, and of linking researchers to businesses, policymakers and practitioners.  Outputs from the placements will be shared through the Valuing Nature Network with the aim of promoting further interdisciplinary reserach with strong user engagement.
