Timed to follow the publication of the European Union’s ‘Fitness Check’ on key conservation directives in early 2016, this seminar will provide a timely opportunity to assess progress made towards meeting the UK’s Biodiversity 2020 targets.
Delegates will discuss the next steps for biodiversity and conservation policy as well as the future role of local communities following the establishment of Local Nature Partnerships and as the National Trust invests £1 billion over ten years to ‘nurse the environment back to health’.
