Dept. of the Natural & Built Environment, Sheffield Hallam University
Location:

Offer:

I would be interested in pursuing a joint partnership research project. My department and research centre has expertise in the field of public health and well-being in relation to access to urban green space. I would be particularly interested in teaming up with economists who wish to explore whether it is possible (or not) to develop market mechanisms to address these values. However, I am also interested in evaluating whether this is a reasonable, effective and efficient thing to do - or just an excuse to withdraw public funding of the proper maintenance the public realm?? It would be good to see if examples of good practice exist - or is it still just a `conceptual debate`??
