Sazani has both an office and coastal research base in Zanzibar as well as over 15 years of history locally, delivering community based adaptation schemes and complex educational programmes. We are participatory research specialists and can offer comprehensive logistical support augmented by a close working relationship with most government departments and coastal communities. Find out more on http://www.sazaniassociates.org.uk/. We have partnerships with a range of universities and ties with Bristol and Cabot through the "Sharp-End"* partnership. *23 partners in a UN approved SIDS (Small Island Developing States) partnership across the Caribbean, Pacific and Indian oceans. There are opportunities for collaboration with natural science as well as social science but for Sazani all research must have positive impacts on target communities. We are happy to support collaboration and tailor proposals.
