Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust
Location:
10 centres nationwide (http://www.wwt.org.uk/wetland-centres/)
Offer:

As a wetland conservation charity we are interested in the health and wellbeing effects of wetlands on humans. We already have one PhD up and running - measuring the health benefits of a WWT-led urban community wetland regeneration project in Slough – but we’d like to collaborate and further develop our capacity in this area.

We can offer 10 UK wetland centres as research sites (including the London Wetland Centre), as well other urban wetland regeneration/creation projects.

We hope to build an evidence base on wellbeing and wetlands to help bring about local and national policy change that protects existing wetland habitat and promotes the use of multi-beneficial urban wetlands (SuDS/constructed wetlands).

Please do get in touch to discuss further.
