The Multiple Values of Nature: Abstract Deadline Extended to 5th December

There is still time to submit your abstract for our joint symposium with the British Ecological Society's journal People and Nature, The Multiple Values of Nature, taking place in the beautiful city of Bristol, from 2 - 3 March 2020. The abstract deadline has been extended to 17:00 (GMT), Thursday 5th December.

The meeting will be an international, broad-scope, interdisciplinary event reflecting the ethos of both People and Nature and the Valuing Nature Programme. It will cover many aspects of the multiple values of nature and will broadly fall under three themes outlined below. The meeting aims to foster cross-disciplinary research collaborations and inform the agenda in this growing and fast-moving research area.

Abstract Submission
We are welcoming abstract submissions for both posters and talks to these themes:

  • Beyond the usual suspects: finding diverse support for nature protection
  • Balancing multiple values: opportunities and challenges
  • Values in action: exploring processes of change and transformation

We are particularly looking for submissions into the topic 'Beyond the Usual Suspects: Finding Diverse Support for Nature Protection'

Extended deadline: 17:00 (GMT), Thursday 5 December.
