Published by BESAFE (Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services: Arguments for our Future Environment), it is designed to provide an answer as to why biodiversity is still in decline despite growing evidence that it is essential for human well-being.
It recommends:
- stakeholder engagement,
- the promotion of bottom-up initiatives at a local level,
- arguments tailored to the audience,
- the use positive arguments, and
- the use a wider range of arguments
