This Valuing Nature Keynote Lecture will be given by Professor Sian Sullivan, from Bath Spa University. This 45 minute lecture will be followed by a panel discussion chaired by Professor Michael Winter with Guy Duke, and Professor Nicola Beaumont.

Cross-disciplinary mental health network plus call

The research councils are pleased to announce the cross-disciplinary mental health network plus call.

The aim of the call is to encourage the creation of multi-disciplinary networks that cross the remit boundaries of the research councils. These networks will address important mental health research questions that require an innovative, cross-disciplinary approach to accelerate progress; to build cross-disciplinary research capacity in the field; and to strengthen the UK mental health research base.


New report: Natural Capital Committee advice on government’s 25 year environment plan

The Natural Capital Committee (NCC) has recently published a report Advice to Government on the 25 Year Environment Plan which sets out the NCC advice to government on the development and implementation of the 25 year environment plan.

It includes the NCC thoughts on what the plan should aim to achieve, how it will do that and what success will look like.


Valuing Nature Business Impact School (BIS3) - Apply Now!

The third Valuing Nature Business Impact School will be held  in Edinburgh from Wednesday 29 November to Saturday 2 December 2017.   The School aims to provide early career researchers with an opportunity to gain insight into producing research with business impact.

NERC has provided funding to offer fully-funded places (school, travel, accommodation, meals, field trip) for around 25 early stage researchers for BIS3.
