The Historic Environment, Valuing Nature and Ecosystem Services

A one day seminar event exploring ecosystem service and valuing nature agendas in the context of historic environment is being held on the 7th June 2016. The event is being led by Historic England (HE) in partnership with the Valuing Nature Programme (http://valuing-nature.net/) and the Ecosystems Knowledge Network (http://ecosystemsknowledge.net/) and with the support of Natural England and the National Trust. The scoping seminar is designed to begin identifying the obstacles and opportunities for connecting research and policy across the historic and natural environment with a view to establishing priorities for further collaboration and networking in this area.   Places are limited  but researchers and practitioners from across the Valuing Nature Community are invited to express interest in participating to Ross Birtles by 27th May ross.birtles@historicengland.org.uk
